Tim Pawlenty is a former Governor of Minnesota. I have no clue whatsoever what his political views are or where he stands with current issues. One thing is for sure, however, and that is the fact that he hired the right people to do his book’s breathtaking promo. Courage to Stand is available in stores now.

Happy Valentines Day
Valentines day is celebrated all over the world as a secular event for couples in our modern world. Like any major event, big companies like to promote their products on this day. In 2007 Valve released the most popular puzzle game in recent times, Portal, resulting in lots of money for Valve and a few memes for the internet. This year, Valve has decided to do a promo for Portal 2, which has absolutely nothing to do with romance. Except maybe for the companion cube.
I lift things up and put them down.
The following video goes to show that even the most mundane sentences/activities can be turned into comedy. Planet fitness gives a guy a tour who’s life is about lifting things up and putting them down.
Sponsors of Tomorrow
Intel likes to repost old videos when they can’t come up with anything new for their YouTube channel. A favorite is the Ajay Bhatt commercial, where he’s supposed to be seen as a “rock star” within the company for being a co-inventor of the USB. Of course it’s really a misnomer – he may be valuable but he doesn’t get to live the life. Nor is it really Ajay Bhatt in the video. But I like it, so here it is.
How Come It Works When They Do It?
This is a commercial for Moose Light. The scene depicted has nothing to do with beer. This is a good thing. The ad asks why it works when girls smudge stuff on each other, but not when guys do it. I wonder the same thing. Maybe girls see it similarly from their perspective?
The Most Awesome Valentine
After searching far and wide, I’ve finally discovered that there is a way for introverted people to be loved on Valentine’s day. With some nerd magic, this bloke made it all happen while the “cool” people all watched speechlessly as the cards and presents came flowing in all day long.
Fear the Panda
There’s a reason why this has been posted all over the internet – it’s too good not to. That’s why it’s here on loaFM as well. Ok, the real reason is because I don’t want the Panda to appear out of nowhere and ruin my computer.
One More Turn – A Tale of Addiction to Gaming
Every generation has it’s scape goat for what’s causing the downfall of today’s youth. First it was rock n roll, then came Dungeons and Dragons. Today we face a problem with videogames. Apart from depicting and glorifying violence, war, sex and other dark themes some titles are built to be nothing short of a substitute for narcotics. Except you don’t get high. The long running strategy series Civilization is one such franchise, and the creators have even embraced the addictive nature of the games.
God damn Montezuma.

How girls stay slim! (And why you stay fat…)
Have you ever wondered why so many girls manage to stay slim? Here’s your answer; just watch.
See? A real man would eat that drumstick no questions asked! Too bad it comes with a health sacrifice.
Meet Rahul, the IT guy.
Intel uploads a lot of videos on youtube. From commercials to press releases and interviews, they all serve the purpose of marketing Intel products. Recently they have taken it one step further by releasing a web series that follows an IT guy that gets many demands on a low budget. Despite the marketing overtones we think it’s really good, which is why we’re sharing it with you.
Hit the break for more episodes featuring Rahul.
